It always gives me great pleasure to spread the news about one of my favorite Fort Lauderdale events! The 3-day Tortuga Music Festival rolls back into town this Friday through Sunday, and this year’s star-studded lineup may be one of the best yet! This year the show is offering attendees both single and three-day ticket packages, with musical act Florida Georgia Line headlining Friday, Keith Urban dazzling the crowd on Saturday, and Eric Church wrapping up the festival on Sunday. Other acts include Brothers Osborne, Cheap Trick, Dan + Shay, Kip Moore, Snoop Dogg, Shaggy, and Dwight Yoakam. In total 27 talented artists will take the stage at the 2018 Tortuga Musical Festival.

This is the 7th year Tortuga Music Festival has rocked an impressive crowd at Fort Lauderdale. Last year saw over 100,000 attendees, so make sure to secure your ticket now! One of my favorite aspects of this event is that it not only unites music fans across the country, but it also benefits the Rock the Ocean Foundation, a fantastic cause benefiting 5 core conservation efforts. The efforts are shark conservation, turtle conservation, marine pollution, overfishing, and coral reef degradation. The festival will host Conservation Village, where over 30 organizations including the Guy Harvey Foundation, Sea Turtle Oversight Protection (S.T.O.P.), University of Miami, Bimini Biological Field Station Foundation, and Surfrider Foundation come together to entertain the crowd with games, interactive touch tanks, and cooking exhibitions that are not only fun, but provide awareness on issues impacting the world’s oceans and how individuals can support scientific research, education, and ocean conservation initiatives. Tortuga Music Festival has been able to donate over $300,000 to Conservation Village, which really highlights how this event not only contributes to Fort Lauderdale, but ultimately marine efforts around the world.
