Edgewater is located just north of the Media, Arts, and Entertainment District and just south of the Upper East Side of the Biscayne Corridor. The Media, Arts, and Entertainment District is within Edgewater to the south, as is Wynwood to the west. It is bound by 17th street to the south, 37th street to the north, E 1st Avenue to the west, and Biscayne Bay to the east. Primarily a residential neighborhood, this community features upscale Condominiums along its bay front and single family homes within the community. One of Miami's most rapidly emerging neighborhoods, Edgewater is in the revival of redevelopment. Its big draw is the bay facing condos that offer spectacular views, the bay facing Margaret Pace Park, and the relatively affordable cost to rent and own. The Media and Entertainment District of Edgewater's condos like Paramount Bay and the 1800 Club developed during the last Real Estate boom, with the current revitalization of the rest of Edgewater, this area has emerged as a popular address to call home.
